Welcome to 6th Year Rememberance Day Competitions - 2021
We, on behalf of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, have geared up to conduct the 6th year Remembrance Day Competitions virtually on 27th July 2021. In line with the previous year functions, as we step into a new phase, the 6th year remembrance of Dr. Kalam is to be commemorated. It is an absolute honour to invite you for the commemoration of people president Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam.
We are planning to conduct the event with the same fervor and enthusiasm. The day would be marked by conducting various events among schools and colleges across India by AKIF House of Kalam Rameswaram.
As this year is significant in all aspects with respect to the Vision 2020 of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, The event would be marked by the presence of distinguished guests, students from schools and colleges across India. As someone whom Dr. Kalam has always treasured a great rapport with, your presence on the occasion would be a befitting tribute to the great soul.

About AKIF
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation (AKIF) was founded by his elder brother, Thiru APJ Mohammed Muthu Meeran Lebbai Maraikayar along with the other members of the family with support from the colleagues of Dr. Abdul Kalam. During his last part of his life, he was contemplating with his peers and family members to set up an organization where his vision would become a reality. Death snatched away this opportunity from him. Dr. Abdul Kalam international foundation which is under the dedicated guidance of his family members at Rameswaram, have been the torchbearers of accomplishing the late President's Vision 2020.
Vision 2020
Any developing country would dream to work towards the goal of attaining the "Developed Country" title. Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam dreamt of a mission that visualized our country to be in the league of developed nations. He formulated a road map to attain that vision. He wanted the development in the rural sector; effectively close the gap with the urban. Every citizen should have access to the basic resources required for their sustenance. Exploring renewable energy, uplifment through education, health care for all and corruption free governance are few of the missions that have to be worked upon. We, as a nation, have almost reached the deadline and the path towards the goal might look like a difficult terrain to walk through. But, if every citizen is instilled with the zeal to achieve these goals with honesty, no force can stop us from achieving the ultimate.

INDIA BEYOND 2020 CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES
Dr.APJ. Abdul Kalam International Foundation (AKIF), by House of Kalam Rameswaram is organizing an "INDIA" on the theme Beyond 2020 Challenges & Opportunities. The goal of the conference is to identify hidden opportunities which can be implemented by the Business players to bring about a change in an existing system for the betterment of the society and significantly paves way for achievement of Beyond Vision 2020.
